Block colours are the real deal!

Step 1: mix up your batter

Step 2: split the batter into two bowls and add colouring to each bowl and stir until your batter reaches your desired colour (remember to save some food colouring for your icing and mini chocolate blocks to decorate)

Step 3: spoon chunks of batter into your pre-greased donut pan (tip: always grease using canola oil!) and then use a small spoon to smooth the batter and blend the donut mix slightly to ensure the two colours bake connected on the underside (the side you can see will end up the bottom of the donuts).

Step 4: bake for 10-12 minutes and then allow to cool prior to removing from the pans. Push the middle of each pan and carefully peel back the pan for successful removal.
